Concern for LeBron James, hit in the right ankle against Atlanta in the NBA
LeBron James had to abandon the Lakers, severely hit in the right ankle in a clash with an Atlanta player on Saturday in the NBA.
The cry of pain that tore the Staples Center left no doubt about the reality of LeBron James' injury. Fighting for a ball early in the second quarter against Atlanta in the NBA on Saturday, he collided with Hawks player Solomon Hill. If the knee first appeared to have been hit, it was the right ankle that had turned outward.
At first, he painfully returned to the bench before returning to the floor to everyone’s surprise. But after a final three-point basket, he finally had to go back to the locker room, flying a chair in the process to relieve his frustration. The Lakers then announced that the 36-year-old would not return to play.
