U.N. Calls for Taliban to End Its Offensive in Afghanistan

The United Nations secretary general urged the Taliban to return to peace talks in Qatar, and highlighted the humanitarian crisis that had ensued since the insurgents began to quickly seize provincial capitals throughout the country.
